Intersputnik International Organization of Space Communications is an intergovernmental organization established in 1971 that unites 25 countries. The Organization is tasked to contribute to the strengthening and development of economic, scientific, technical and cultural relations by communications and broadcasting via satellites, as well as to ensure the cooperation and coordination of efforts in the design, establishment, operation, and development of the Intersputnik international satellite telecommunications system.

A unique status of Intersputnik allows scaling up its commercial activities through international cooperation. Intersputnik provides customers from all continents with the bandwidth on commercial communications satellites of most satellite operators, as well as with a full range of advanced satellite communications and broadcasting services.

Intersputnik is a member of ITU, IAF, GSOA and an observer in UN COPUOS.
