Established on November 15, 1971 currently Intersputnik unites 25 Member States located in practically all parts of the world. Intersputnik’s core business is providing satellite capacity to telecommunications operators, broadcasters, corporate customers and to offer value-added services via its subsidiary.
Intersputnik offers the capacity of telecommunications satellites located in the geostationary orbital arc from 14 degrees West to 166 degrees East. One of Intersputnik’s key partners is Russia’s domestic operator – the Russian Satellite Communications Company. Also, Intersputnik legally distributes the satellite resource of international operators via the global systems of Intelsat, SES, Eutelsat, Telesat. Intersputnik has long-lasting partnership with Asia Broadcast Satellite and cooperates with other regional and domestic satellite operators.
Intersputnik’s principal assets namely the long-standing experience and availability of its own orbit and spectrum resource allow implementing projects aimed at procuring and deploying spacecraft in Intersputnik’s orbital positions to provide service in the rapidly developing regions with growing demand for satellite telecommunications services.
