15 January 2026 – The AlSat-3A remote sensing satellite was launched by China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC) on LM-2C launch vehicle from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center (JSLC). The satellite entered into the predetermined orbit, the launch mission is a complete success. This mission is the 85th flight of LM-2C launch vehicle and the 626th launch of Long March family. In accordance with the Contract for the AlSat-3 Remote Sensing System signed between CGWIC and the Algerian Space Agency (ASAL) in July 2023, CGWIC as the prime contractor worked together with its subcontractors, China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT), China Academy of Space Technology (CAST), and China Satellite Launch and Tracking Control General (CLTC) to in-orbit deliver two optical remote sensing satellites for ASAL and to provide the Ground System (GS), training and other support services.
