21 September 2026 – SES and JioStar, South Asia’s largest media conglomerate, today announced a new multi-year deal under which SES will provide satellite distribution services for JioStar’s portfolio of television channels across India and the Indian sub-continent using the IS-20 satellite. The agreement enables JioStar to distribute its channels reliably to cable, DTH and broadcast distribution networks across the region, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery to millions of households. By transitioning its services to SES’s IS-20 satellite, JioStar benefits from a resilient and future-ready broadcast platform with extensive coverage across India and South Asia.
