17 September 2025 – The Space Data Association (SDA) has awarded the multinational technology company GMV, a provider of space solutions and services, the contract to develop our next generation safety of flight system, the Space Safety Portal (SSP) to support today’s mission critical space operations. Building upon the strong foundation established over more than a decade of partnership and leadership from COMSPOC, the new next generation system will be agile and enable new capabilities. SDA and GMV will partner with satellite operators, SSA data providers, and other SSA agencies to improve collaboration and strengthen its commitment to act as an integration hub for the enhancement of global space traffic coordination (STC) services.
