7 April 2026 – At 21:32, April 7th, 2026 BJT, Long March 8 (LM-8) Launch Vehicle blasted off from Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site, successfully sending the seventh 18 satellites of Spacesail Constellation into the predetermined orbit. The launch services for the abovementioned satellites of Spacesail Constellation are prime-contracted by China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC), a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). This is the seventh launch performed by CGWIC for Spacesail Constellation, following the deployment of the sixth batch of Spacesail satellites in October of 2025. These 18 satellites are designed and manufactured by Shanghai Engineering Center for Microsatellites.
